Fact#1: A key component of any home is the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. If the HVAC system performs well, the home will be comfortable in all weather conditions. If it does not, the home will have (1) comfort problems, (i.e. hot and cold rooms), (2) excessive operating costs from inefficiency and (3) possible high repair/replacement costs.
