Since it’s inception over a half century ago, Climatemakers has always placed heavy emphasis on “knowledge and service”. Even though our work initially was primarily in new construction in an extremely competitive environment, we believed then as we do now, that “knowledge and excellent service” would be the things that would set us apart from all the other “wanna be’s”. It was really “tough sledding” in those early days, when anyone with a pickup truck and a pair of pliers, a screwdriver and a wrench could call himself a heating contractor.
Someone once said “that the future is only the past, coming in a different door, wearing different clothes”. 50+ years ago, it was unskilled, untrained “wanna be’s”…today, it is the “big box” stores. We can’t hope to match their advertising budgets or store traffic but we have found out as surely today as yesterday, that “knowledge and excellent” service still sets us apart, just as it did a half century ago.
Someone else also said, that you may think you are in the automobile business, the grocery business, or the HVAC business, but in truth, we are all in the “People Business”…and we long ago recognized, that our strongest and most valuable asset would always be our employees. Over the years, we’ve constantly selected and trained hundreds of employees in our continuing effort to develop the Perfect Technician. Here are some of the things we look for and insist upon:
1. Clear background check and drug-free…He won't be smoking or using any bad language around you either… his whole family…wife, kids, parents and dog are all so proud of him!
2. Courteous and professional. He respects and protects your home by using drop cloths, wearing gloves and shoe protectors as he goes about his job of “making the weather behave inside your house 365 days of the year”. He will always remove any trash or debris from the site as it is his expressed goal to leave your residence in better condition than when we arrived.
If a picture is worth a thousands words, then we think this graphic will help you visualize our Perfect Technician even better …and help you understand why Climatemakers has been the HVAC contractor of choice, for so many thousands, over so many years.
