     Recently, one of the visitors to our website must have stumbled across the web page we wrote commemorating our 50th anniversary back in 2003, when we listed 51 reasons (one for each year and 1 extra) for doing business with Climatemakers (click here to review) and they made the comment that it must have taken a lot of thought and effort to make such a list.

     Merry ShermanWith as much modesty as I could muster, I replied that “when you have listened to (and seen) as many things go wrong with HVAC systems due to neglect and/or poor, inadequate service by companies that either don’t know (or don’t care) as we have in our 55 years experience, that I’ll bet I could give you a hundred reasons, why it is more advantageous to do business with us than any other company”.

     I never dreamed the visitor would take me up on my remarks, but they did…so here’s the list and if you read it carefully, we’ll help you discover a new meaning of customer satisfaction…especially if you have ever been dissatisfied with the HVAC company you previously used...dirty fingerprints on the wall...greasy spots in the driveway...oil smudges...trash left behind etc, read on:

  1. We have real offices, staffed by real people that answer our phones during the day.
     
  2. Our offices are properly staffed to meet the demands of our workload.
     
  3. Our office hours are: Mon-Fri, 8am-5 pm; Sat 8am-12 noon.
     

     About Our Services

     
  4. For working families, our service technicians are available Mon-Fri 8 am-8 pm with no overtime charges.
     
  5. We have after hour emergency service available.
     
  6. In addition, we have a 24 hour answering service with the capability of paging the "On call” technician.
     
  7. We have a chain of command of who will be sent out after hours so if one person is unavailable, the next one will fill in.
     
  8. Saturday appointments are available with no overtime charges.
     
  9. Service appointments can also be made by Email with our "On line" capability to schedule.
     
  10. We use real financial accounting to come up with our prices rather than charging what "everyone else" does.
     
  11. Our "Flat Rate" method of pricing lets you know before we start what the cost of your repairs will be.
     
  12. One day replacement. In most cases, we can replace your old system so that you will not be without heating or cooling overnight. Sometimes on large or complicated systems, that means we will supply temporary heating/cooling for you at no additional cost.
     
  13. Twice each year we offer the most comprehensive Fall & Spring "Tune-Up/Check-Up" programs that are available anywhere and at this time are specially discounted.

We hold weekly meetings with our service technicians to discuss situations and concerns that come up in the field.

     
  16. We test our technicians regularly on the skills we know are necessary.
     
  17. We insist that all certifications required of our technicians be kept current.
     
  18. We enroll our technicians in job-related education classes, so they will be better able to serve you.
     
  19. Our service technicians take their trucks home at night to be able to (1) respond to after hour calls more rapidly and (2) to go directly to their first call in the AM, without having to “go to the office” first.
     
  20. We’ll do our best, to work our schedule around yours.
     
  21. We’ll even work weekends by appointment for your convenience.
     
  22. We schedule our work properly so you won't have to wait the entire day for us to show up.
     
  23. We've "raised the bar another notch" by replacing the rigid, immobility of conventional 2-way radio systems by dispatching our technicians via computers and utilize provided cell phones to provide instant communication.

  64. For your protection, we carry Full coverage Insurance on our vehicles, on our operations and Workers Compensation on all our employees for any accident that may occur.

  65. With our own sheet metal fabricating shop, your installation is controlled by our employees from beginning to end. Where special wiring is required to conform to code requirements, a licensed electrician under our supervision will perform the work.
     
  66. Our Installation Manager inspects all new jobs prior to the actual installation.
     
  67. Our professional employees are uniformed and our vehicles are neatly painted and lettered. Both are easily recognizable and identifiable. Either observed by your neighbors will enhance their opinion of your good judgment and never be an embarrassment.
